The FN2 K20A is a precision-tuned racing engine. To ensure a successful installation and maintain your warranty, please follow these technical guidelines:
Complete Drivetrain Swap: This package includes the engine long block, intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors, and the 6-speed manual transmission. You must utilize or adapt your vehicle's specific engine wiring harness and ECU to ensure 100% communication with your dashboard and sensors.
Transmission Prep: We strongly recommend installing a new Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Throw-out Bearing before mating the engine and transmission. Inspect the shifter linkage and bushings for any wear to ensure crisp gear engagement.
LSD Maintenance: If equipped with a Helical LSD, use only high-quality Honda MTF (Manual Transmission Fluid) or a high-performance equivalent to protect the differential gears and synchro's.
Essential Maintenance: We strongly recommend replacing the following parts during the swap:
Spark Plugs: NGK Laser Iridium (IZFR6K11S).
