USDM Swap: To ensure 100% plug-and-play compatibility with your vehicle's ECU and emissions, you must transfer all your original USDM accessories to the JDM unit.
-
Crank Sprocket Warning: JDM D17A engines often feature a different crankshaft timing gear tooth pattern. You must swap your original USDM Crankshaft Sprocket and Camshaft Gear onto the JDM engine to prevent synchronization codes (P0335/P0340) and starting issues.
-
VTEC Solenoid: If the JDM VTEC solenoid electrical connector does not match your harness, simply swap your original USDM VTEC solenoid onto the JDM head.

Maintenance: We highly recommend a new timing belt kit, water pump, and rear main seal. It is also critical to use a new thermostat and ensure the cooling system is properly bled, as the D17 series is sensitive to overheating.
