Installation & USDM Drop-In Notes

• Component Swapping (Crucial): While the structural block core, internal pistons, and cylinder head are identical, installers must transfer the original US-spec engine wiring harness, alternator/inverter bracket components, electronic throttle body, and select emissions sensors from the old engine to ensure a direct, check-engine-light-free match with your domestic vehicle's ECU.

• Hybrid Transaxle Alignment: Ensure the engine block mating surfaces are thoroughly cleaned before bolting the core to the factory hybrid eCVT transaxle assembly. Align the dampener plate carefully to prevent vibration issues.

• Preventative Maintenance: Due to the extensive labor involved in a hybrid engine replacement, it is highly recommended to perform standard maintenance before dropping the engine in.
